Even I was failed so many times. So what I prefer is to start with reducing your daily calories intake.

Suppose you should have 2000 cal a day then start cutting down on your calories.

2.Eat Row (Uncooked) vegetables

See when you cook it in the oil on high heat for longer period of time then vegetables are almost burned food it cocked foods are burned, 

you can just fill your stomach with that but you will not get any nutrition with that.
